Quantum computing is a way to leverage insights in quantum physics to perform computation. It is necessary to realize that quantum phenomena, such as entanglement and superposition, they are inherently scale-free. Therefore, it not just about physical phenomenon, but also about meta physics. The phrase: "Shut up and calculate!", best illustrate this property of the nature of intellectual discourses in the field of quantum physics or quantum mechanics.
