In the context of DevOps, the word operate, refers to the resource provisioning and content maintenance of a networked data services. In the case of PKC, one may become a Self-Service Agent and operate one's own PKC-powered website. This person should have at least one computer's root/administrator rights, and being able to have full access to some of its data storage devices. In other words, an operator can change the conditions of PKC at will, such as shutdown and deploy it to any private or public network domains.
