Digikube is the Digital platform of Kelompok Usaha Bersama that empowering Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) it self by Digitalization.
Happy Digital X is an online Profesional Education Program of Tsinghua Southeast Asia in Bali, Indonesia.
Happy Digital X as a forum that assign us to observe this as project challenge.

  • 29 May 2021, first meeting, introduce members and roles assignment
  • 31 May 2021, second meeting, Brief explanation about KUBE in Sumedang by one of the team members Ibu Yanuarti which is one of the regional government officer in Sumedang
  • 4 June 2021, Meet with H Bubun as an expert in KUBE in Sumedang, detailing about every KUBE and their potential to develop
  • 11 June 2021, Meet with H Bubun and Arief S detailing about KUBE’s problems & existing apps. We heard that from H Bubun the main problem of KUBE in Sumedang is they don’t have sufficient skill in marketing and the entrepreneurial spirit of its members
  • 17 June 2021, Detailling about our challenges
  • 22 June 2021, Generating : Stakeholder analysis, Goal Statement, Data Gathering, Solution Brainstorming.

The KUBE Program aimed at tackling poverty in Sumedang unfortunately does not run well due to low entrepreneurial skill and non-optimal ICT tools usage

Iceberg model of system. Thinking in systems allows us to uncover the root cause of out problems, allowing for more fundamental and transformative solutions to be visible.

Event
KUBEs are not well developed and have a low business sustainability

Patterns

  • The KUBEs are tend to copy another KUBE business (80% KUBEs are goat and sheep farming)
  • Less enthusiasm
  • Limitation of the mentors of KUBE

Structure

  • No accountability from KUBE members, there are no commitments to sustain the business
  • There is no collaboration with another important stakeholders such as University, another government division, etc

Mental Model

  • Low entrepreneurship skills
  • Low entrepreneurial motivation
  • Low literacy rate
