A linear function is a function of form f(x)=mx+b, where "m" is the slope and "b" will be "y" intercept
- rate of change = d = Δ
- Δx = rate of change of x = dx
Properties
- linear function has a constant rate of change
- one functions slope will aways be the same
- When linear function f(x)=mx+b is increasing, if m > 0
- When linear function f(x)=mx+b is decreasing, if m < 0
- When linear function f(x)=mx+b is Constance, if m = 0
