Context
Due to ignorance in the learning process of using mediawiki tools namespace management has been abused and incorrectly implemented. To correct this problem cleaning up the unnecessary namespaces and correcting them with categories of namespace dictionaries is proposed.
Goal
To have a clean wiki that becomes the main location for developing PKC as a product.
Success Criteria
In order to demonstrate proper namespace management specific success criteria will be defined for each namespace. As a core principle each namespace should demonstrate universal application, so that a single dictionary can be utilized for a variety of project applications.
Outputs=
These are the completed namespace that have been through the process.
……
Process
- Create the category pages for each namespace and define by a logic model.
The process of deleting pages should follow specific protocol:
- Identify and optimize pages that meet dictionary criteria
- Identify and tag pages suggested for deletion
- Receive group feedback/consensus and confirm deletion
- Once a page is tagged for deletion after 3 days of objection the page deletion will be automatically confirmed.
- Finished populating the namespace categories
Inputs
Currently existing wiki pages.
- Pages under observation are listed in a table below:
To identify and tag pages for the clean up process simply tag the pages with the template Template:Warning this template has a variable called suggestion, it can be labeled either delete or fix.
