Abstract Specification
Context Given the ongoing release of the Booklet on the Science of Governance, the cover page needs to have increasingly better graphics to reveal its content.
Goal Design a cover image for the Booklet to remind readers about the fact that SoG is about making governance actions timely, accountable, and observable.
Success Criteria The design deliverables must fall into the specified time-bound and satisfy the input and output requirements as specified in the concrete implementation details.

Scope of Work

Given the ongoing release of the Booklet on the Science of Governance, the cover page needs to have increasingly better graphics to reveal its content.


Terms

The Agreement shall commence on the “Effective Date” and continue in effect until terminated.

Payment Terms

The Client will pay the Designer a total of $3000, with a deposit of $300 due upon signing of this contract and the balance due upon completion of the project.

Deliverables

The deliverables will include high-resolution versions of the graphics and illustrations in various file formats, as well as a newer version of The Booklet.

Intellectual property

The Designer retains the right to use the designs for their own portfolio or promotional purposes, but all intellectual property rights in the designs will be transferred to the Client upon receipt of final payment.

Termination

Either party may terminate this contract if the other party breaches the terms of the agreement.

Confidentiality

The Designer agrees to keep the Client's business information and designs confidential.

Indemnification

The Designer will not be liable for any infringing use of the designs by the Client.
