Notes
- A project is a set of tasks which must be completed in order to arrive at a deliverable. Knowing the process gives your project definition.
- A project is defined as a sequence of tasks that must be completed to attain a certain outcome. According to the Project Management Institute (PMI), the term Project refers to ” to any temporary endeavor with a definite beginning and end”. Depending on its complexity, it can be managed by a single person or hundreds
Missed info : Missing the SC of "Writing the logic model"
- if the logic model is for scope :
- need to cover the scope of a project
- compilation error of logic model
- limited language ability (which is common for normal human), lack of understanding of concepts in a **formalized way**, lack of success criteria and computational power to apply the rule. (Formal Methods) [1]
- compared to other theory like project management, where a deliberation system of knowledge are offered, the theory of UDA, Logic model , while is a good expression, doesn't contain enough knowledge to execute a project compared to "Project Theories".
- For Example : R&D is a type of project, platform R&D is a type of R&D, which has specific and general knowledge.
- Another example : Logic model did not specify how to do things
- So it is infeasible for us to figure out the process while lacking knowledge. (Input:Knowledge)
- To solve the problem, there should be other theories to cover our process
- We can still use Logic Model as Formal Description of system and integrate knowledge from other theories.
