Search and optimization(Q11540953) is a generic operation for computation. Linguistically, it can be considered as an overarching term for all computable functions, it also implies some form of optimization. A quick look at the term Search on Wikipedia, one can see that search do cover a broad ground that is being used by many fields. The purpose of defining the term Search in the context of PKC to represent computations generically, is to help smooth the learning curve for the explanation and understanding of Universality
