John L. Kelley

John L. Kelley is a mathematician known for his work in general topology and functional analysis. He is particularly known for his earliest mentioning of the term Iff, which also stands for If and only if. In an article in 1955, he attributes this way of using Iff to mathematician, Paul Halmos.
