Navigasi Mediawiki

Mediawiki Login and Logout

User Pages

The login process in MediaWiki is relatively straightforward and involves the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the login page: This can typically be found by clicking on the "Log in" link in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Enter your username and password: Type your username and password into the appropriate fields on the login page.
  3. Click "Log in": Once you have entered your login credentials, click the "Log in" button to log into your account.

If you do not have a MediaWiki account, you can create one by clicking on the "Create an account" link on the login page. This will bring you to a page where you can enter your desired username and password, as well as any other information that may be required.

Once you are logged in, you will be able to access all of the features and functions of the site that are available to users with your level of access. You can log out of your account at any time by clicking on the "Log out" link in the top right corner of the page.

Watchlist

A watchlist is a feature that allows users to keep track of changes made to pages on the wiki. When you add a page to your watchlist, you will be notified of any changes made to that page. You can use this feature to keep track of pages that you are interested in or that you are actively editing. To access your watchlist, you will need to log in to the wiki and click on the "watchlist" link in the top menu. From there, you can view a list of all the pages you are currently watching and see what changes have been made to them. You can also add or remove pages from your watchlist from this page.

Track Contributions

In MediaWiki, "tracking contributions" refers to the process of keeping track of the edits that a particular user has made to the wiki. This can be helpful for several reasons, such as:

  1. Monitoring the activity of a particular user: If you are an administrator or a moderator, you may want to keep track of the contributions made by a particular user to ensure that they are following the rules of the wiki and making constructive edits.
  1. Seeing the impact of your own contributions: If you are a regular contributor to the wiki, tracking your own contributions can help you see how much you have contributed and how your contributions have helped shape the content of the wiki.
  1. Recognizing top contributors: Many wikis have a system for recognizing and rewarding their most active and helpful contributors. Tracking contributions is one way to identify these contributors and give them the recognition they deserve.

To track the contributions of a particular user, you can go to their user page and click on the "Contributions" tab. This will show you a list of all the edits that the user has made to the wiki, along with the dates and details of each edit. You can also use the "Recent Changes" page to see a list of all the recent edits made to the wiki, including the username of the person who made each edit.
