A spacetime boundary can be annotated using a universal data type, called Lattice, to define its top and bottom. Since both space and time properties can be denoted using ordered entries of data points, often represented as directed relations or tuples, they can always to represented as Partially ordered set, and therefore find their boudaries in terms of lattices.
