Merit
According to Wikipedia, Merit (Buddhism)(Q1406348) is a beneficial and protective force which accumulates as a result of good deeds, acts, or thoughts. As this Wikipedia entry describes, this definition of merit is specifically written based on Buddhism's angle of definition.
