This is a metric to measure the compactness of a knowledge system. For a key-value pair, the more frequent it is used, the convergence is higher.

Data Abstraction:= k-vpair[arbitrary information]

For example, the information in communication channel can be expressed as a key-value pair. The content(value) are placed in a certain location(key)
