Resource is a broad term for many different contexts. In computing science, resources can be classified into three basic types, space, time, and uncertainty. In financial accounting, resources are considered as factors of (value) production.

A partial list of Resource examples:

  1. Software: A kind of written code that can be used as inputs in a process.
  2. Hardware: A kind of physical instrumentation that can be used as inputs or outputs in process.
  3. Book: A kind of 2D-medium publication that captures information or data.
  4. Paper: A kind of 2D-medium publication that is usually presented in a book as a single chapter or less.
  5. Video: A set of animated images bound in a single file or a directory.
  6. Data Set: Any digitized data set.
  7. Participants: People engaging in the project.
