HDX Team5 Conclusion Impact Statements

The key factor affecting the success and sustainability of Pasar Rakyat project lies within the successful implementation of Sample Farms as the training and learning centers in Bali to effective a green agriculture revolution with new skills and methodologies imparted to the farming community. The project team has envisaged an App for farmers to use in the farms they work on, with a central portal managed by Pasar Rakyat Founder Pak Nyoman and his team. This is the foundation starting point for a meaningful and impactful journey for the Balinese to bring about self-reliance, sustainability, food security, hence leading to happiness in Bali.

Our team has also introduced Pasar Rakyat Founder Pak Nyoman to the CEO of TaniHub Group. They will explore how the TaniFund platform can be integrated to the ecosystem of Pasar Rakyat Sample Farms and Farmers. Coincidentally, the TaniFung technology platform also has an App interface for trained farmers to upload their farm status and progress, since TaniFund has relevant App for farmers that may fit Pasar Rakyat needs. The technology platforms for TaniFund and also the TaniHub supply demand sale portal (https://tanihub.com/), in our opinion, can complement very well the plan and aspiration of Pak Nyoman for the Pasar Rakyat project. Our team now leave the project with a sense of optimism and hope that Pak Nyoman and his collaborators including TaniHub will progress to the next stage of a very meaningful and impactful journey in Bali!We thank HDX administrators, lecturers, instructors, and Pak Nyoman for the great learning journey through this project work.
