Hyper Text Transport Protocol

Hyper Text Transport Protocol was invented by Tim Berners-Lee, popularly known as the communication standard of web pages. The notion of Hyper Text can be linked to Hyper Card, and Ted Nelson's ideas of Project Xanadu.
