Short Bio
Jean Piaget is a psychology known for his influence in child development. He established a the field called:Constructivism. According to a paper[1] on topology, he stated the following:
A child’s first geometrical discoveries are topological. If you ask him to copy a square or a triangle, he draws a closed circle.
This observation can to be used as a focal point of how cognition can be developed over a person's lifetime. From a intellectual developmental viewpoint, Topology, not Arithmetic, might be a much more generally applicable abstraction that could be used as the foundation of cognitive development, even for the development of a civilization. By switching the symbolic abstraction from arithmetic symbols to topological reasoning, it is possible to create a universal information processor that can deal with more areas of reasoning activities.
