Systems engineering is said to be an engineering practice of multiple systems, exemplifies the idea that systems are rarely singular in nature. A system is a collection of elements that are related to each other. On the other hand, studying systems requires insights into the relations, and utilizing a consistent method to study relations as a instance of a universal construct.

Systems Engineering and Software Engineering

Software engineering is a field of knowledge that shares a significant amount of intellectual foundation, because they are both focused on some artificial representation of relations.
