This video talks about Monad and consciousness. To learn more about Leibniz's Monad, there is a book[1] on this. The translated Monadology text into English can also be found on this website[2]. According to Leevark, Leibniz also claims that by abstracting the reality into Monads, it will be possible to address the issue of describing consciousness. This assertion would echo statements made by Brian Beckman, in his video[3] on Monad, who shows that all software systems can be modeled by pure functions, the idea of purity and abstraction, formless/shapeless, is very similar to Leibniz's Monads as Leevark explained it. It would also be fun to watch the video[4] by Philip Wadler, who first introduced Monad to the world of programming.
